How to Connect
Add the Erathos MCP server to your AI client.
The Erathos MCP server is available at:
https://mcp.erathos.com/mcpIt's a standard remote MCP server authenticated with OAuth against your own Erathos account — any MCP client that supports remote servers will prompt you to sign in via your browser the first time you connect. You never need to generate or paste an API key or token yourself.
Add it to your client
From your terminal:
claude mcp add --transport http erathos https://mcp.erathos.com/mcpThis saves the server but doesn't sign you in yet. Complete authentication with either:
claude mcp login erathosor by running /mcp inside a Claude Code session and picking erathos — either way opens your browser to sign in to Erathos.
Check the connection any time with claude mcp get erathos (or /mcp in a session), which reports ✔ Connected, ! Needs authentication, or ✘ Failed to connect.
Open Settings (
Ctrl/Cmd+,, or the menu → File → Settings) → Connectors.Click Add (top right) → Add custom connector.
Paste in the server URL:
https://mcp.erathos.com/mcp.Leave Advanced settings blank unless you're prompted otherwise, and follow the browser prompt to sign in to your Erathos account.
Available on free, Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans (free is limited to one custom connector). Since Claude connects to this server from Anthropic's cloud rather than your device, the URL above must stay reachable over the public internet — which it is.
Pro/Max: Customize → Connectors → + → Add custom connector → paste https://mcp.erathos.com/mcp → leave Advanced settings blank unless prompted otherwise → follow the browser sign-in prompt.
Team/Enterprise: an owner first adds it once via Organization settings → Connectors → Add → Custom → Web, using the same URL. Members then go to Customize → Connectors and click Connect on it — no need to re-enter the URL themselves.
Add it to your ~/.codex/config.toml:
[mcp_servers.erathos]
url = "https://mcp.erathos.com/mcp"
auth = "oauth"Then sign in with:
codex mcp login erathosAdd it to your ~/.cursor/mcp.json (or a project-level .cursor/mcp.json):
Cursor should prompt you to sign in to Erathos the first time it's used. If it doesn't, check Cursor's own MCP documentation for its auth config block — some OAuth servers need one specified explicitly rather than being detected automatically.
Any MCP client that supports remote (HTTP) servers with OAuth can connect the same way: give it the URL https://mcp.erathos.com/mcp and follow its own prompt to sign in. No manual token or API key is needed.
Open the Command Palette and run MCP: Add Server, choose HTTP, and paste in https://mcp.erathos.com/mcp — or add it directly to your mcp.json:
VS Code will prompt you to sign in to Erathos the first time it's used.
