Github
Using the Erathos platform
When selecting GitHub as a new connector on the Erathos platform, you will need to name your connection and fill in the following form:
Token — your GitHub Personal Access Token used to authenticate API requests
Org — the GitHub organization name whose repositories and members you want to sync
With this connection created you can seamlessly move your GitHub data to your BigQuery, Redshift or Postgres data warehouse.
How to find my token?
You can generate a Personal Access Token by navigating to Settings > Developer settings > Personal access tokens > Tokens (classic) inside your GitHub account. Click Generate new token, give it a descriptive name, set the desired expiration, and select the scopes your integration requires — at minimum repo (to read repository data) and read:org (to read organization members).
Once generated, copy the token value immediately — GitHub will not show it again. Paste the value into the Erathos platform Token field. For the Org field, enter your organization's name exactly as it appears in your GitHub organization URL (e.g. my-company from github.com/my-company). Don't forget to click on Save and close to advance to the next steps of the integration.
